POWER IN PRAYING TO GOD

When young David lived daily under the threat of death by the raving mad King of Israel, God delivered him. David said he cried out to the Lord and God sent help. Here is how it appeared: "Then the earth shook and quaked, the foundations of heaven were trembling and were shaken, because He was angry" (2 Samuel 22:7,8).

What David described is not unusual. James says, "...The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." (James 5:16b) Stuff happens when people seek God and call on Him. When His children are in trouble; when they fear; when they need; God hears and responds according to His perfect will.
"And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." (Rom. 8:28)
God loves and cares for those who call on Him from a sincere heart. And God is moved into action by the prayers of His children. Praise God.

  1. I like that you have taken the step to make post titles green; that is going in the right direction. But why not take it farther? Imagine how much more effective your campaign to save the planet would be if your blog background was green? Imagine how much less carbon you could emit?

If not, you should at least have mom fry up some June bugs for dinner:

  2. I thank you for the suggestion, but I'm already doing enough. But what about you, have you changed your ways to save the planet?
