BE IN GOD'S WORD SO GOD CAN WORK IN YOU

Get in the Word of God today because God wants to do some work in you! The Word of God is powerful if it is received with humility. "In humility receive the word implanted which is able to save your souls" Jas 1:21. God said that we are to listen to His Son and obey His words, Mt. 17:5; Jn 12:48. God's "power to save" comes through hearing the Gospel. Thus we must be reading God's word in order to be saved.
10 “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; 11 So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it." - Isa. 55
The Bible is going out into all the world and its truth is is influencing lives. Depending on the inclination of the man, the Word either hardens or softens him. The Word always accomplishes exactly what God intended so that no man is without excuse.

God's Word is eternal and the one that does the will of God will have eternal life. Compare the following two verses:
"BUT THE WORD OF THE LORD ENDURES FOREVER.” And this is the word which was preached to you." 1 Pt 1:25 AND "The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever." 1 Jn 2:17
God's Word is powerful because God is powerful to give us His promises and to keep them. Truth, like Love, never dies or ends. And the soul of man, created in the image of God, does not cease to be either. That soul of man can go eternally to hell or it can go eternally to heaven, but it does not cease. God desires a relationship with us and is jealous for it, Jas. 4. If we draw near to God, He will draw near to us. He has given us His Word and told us what He desires. His Word is powerful to bring us into a saved relationship, to cause us to be born again, when we hear and obey it by repenting and being baptized (1 Pt 1:23; Jn 3:3-5; Titus 3:5; Romans 6:3-5).

It is not a strange thing that the Almighty God of heaven and earth would have his perfect, divine will communicated to man. What is strange and unconscionable is for man to neglect or completely ignore it. God is wanting to work in your today. God is waiting to hear from you in prayer. Take time every day to read the Bible. Stop and talk to God about what you have read and God will keep His promises.
