Paroxuno - "This Greek verb gives us our English word paroxysm which is defined as a fit, attack, or sudden increase or recurrence of symptoms (as of a disease), a convulsion (like paroxysm of coughing) or a sudden violent emotion or action, and so an outburst (a paroxysm of rage)."

This is the Word used for Paul being "provoked" in his spirit at seeing all of the idols in Athens.

My spirit is provoked at seeing the idols being propped up by President Obama, liberal judges, and godless politicians in both sides of the aisle.

To be provoked over sin is right. A godly man is jealous for God and is provoked by the immorality that is growing in this land. "Remember, do not forget how you provoked the LORD your God to wrath in the wilderness; from the day that you left the land of Egypt until you arrived at this place, you have been rebellious against the LORD." Dt. 9:7.

How long before God comes down and judges Sodom and finds these who would pervert the precious marriage institution? They will be weighed and found wanting.
