DO YOU HAVE CLEAN TEETH?

There's a passage in Amos that says, "I gave you cleanness of teeth." What does that mean? Amos 4 says,
" 6“But I gave you also cleanness of teeth in all your cities
And lack of bread in all your places,
Yet you have not returned to Me,” declares the LORD.
7“Furthermore, I withheld the rain from you

While there were still three months until harvest.
Then I would send rain on one city
And on another city I would not send rain;
One part would be rained on,
While the part not rained on would dry up.
8“So two or three cities would stagger to another city to drink water,
But would not be satisfied;
Yet you have not returned to Me,” declares the LORD.
Godi was punishing Israel for being unfaithful. He withheld crops and water. And after fasting, I have a better idea for what it means to have "cleanness of teeth". When you aren't eating, you have really clean teeth. Debris doesn't build up because you aren't eating. So this is an example of sarcasm from God because He gave them hunger and empty bellies to bring them to repentance. But the consequence is "clean teeth". We should be thankful for the food and water God gives to us. And let's honor Him with our lives because no one wants to fast without choosing.
Now when you voluntarily fast, you are doing a good thing for the body. An aside from the benefits is clean teeth. I still brush for breath, of course, but the teeth stay smooth all day as after brushing.
